The Problem.

Swag Boxers (“Swag”) is the Australian arm of an LA-based company that’s on a mission to make underwear less boring. Licensing some of the world’s favourite franchises and brands, Swag brings a bold stroke to everyday life with undies that are anything but basic. They hit Australian shores in early 2021, quickly making a name for their attitude and nostalgic team ups.


When they debuted Down Under, Swag Boxers was an entirely new website with no market share or social media presence. They were starting with a completely cold audience and needed to build brand awareness and generate sales. With well known competitors like Crazy Boxers already dominating the market, Swag needed a strong marketing strategy to drive traffic to their website, generate some buzz and boost important conversions.

The Solution.

Swag Boxers enlisted Gordon Digital for a trio of services: SEO, Google Ads and Socials (including organic and paid email, Facebook and Instagram management). We created a thorough timeline of our campaign strategies, so our client knew exactly when to expect real-world results. Our Social Media posts attracted immediate results, as users engaged with attractive paid advertisements and clicked through to the website.

 
Given that Swag Boxers had just launched their new Australian website, we knew that our SEO and Google Ads campaigns would be a longer-term strategy. We wrote shareable blog posts in the brand’s fun and witty tone of voice, packed their site pages with keywords and hand-crafted
content for every product collection to make customers laugh, engage with the brand and head to the online store.


The results.

After just three months of working with Gordon Digital, Swag Boxers’ total orders increased by 2,033% with a conversion rate increase of 253%! These staggering stats were achieved through a triple threat of our specialist services - including Google Ads, SEO and Social Media.
Our Google Ads campaigns generated a 472% increase in online store sessions, growing Swag Boxers’ sales by 1,893%. Zooming in on our SEO strategy, we found that sales gained from SEO soared by 5,167%, with over 800 users converting into paying customers!


Over on social media, sales grew by 1,566% with more than 10,000 people visiting our client’s website from their Instagram and Facebook feeds. Building Swag’s social media presence paid off handsomely and let us turn 2.1M impressions into real results. Our top funnel campaign drove a huge wave of brand awareness, attracting 16,719 link clicks. Awareness powered our effective middle funnel campaign that landed 701 total clicks. Out of those clicks, 101 were turned into website purchases, a pretty generous 14.4% conversion rate.


Our talented team worked hard to get impressive results within a short time frame… and not just because we were bribed with Harry Potter themed boxers. The work we do for Swag Boxers is something we’re immensely proud of, and it’s a great example of how the digital marketing disciplines work together to help clients kick their goals.
