SEMrush offers a free SEO toolkit that allows you to process 10 requests per day when registering for a free subscription. The position tracking tool lets you check your rankings as well as analyse that ever-so-important mobile and desktop data. The free account has its limitations, but they also offer a 7-day free trial that allows you to see what a paid account would get you.
SEO professionals love the paid version of SEMrush, as it offers complete information all in one place. This includes what keywords you rank for, your ranking position for each, as well as the keyword’s monthly search volume.
Moz has a bunch of free tools to analyse your SEO performance. Their free domain analysis tool can tell you a wealth of information, such as your domain authority, the number of keywords you rank for and your top-ranking keywords. While the free tool doesn’t reveal all your ranking keywords, it’s a good starting point if you’re not willing to cough up the cash for the paid version yet.

6. Google Search Console
Google Search Console is Google’s own SEO tool for webmasters. It allows you to see what queries your web pages are showing up for and how many clicks they’re getting. It also tells you average ranking positions, i.e. the mean ranking of your page for one or more queries. It’s more a tool for identifying your highest-traffic queries than checking rankings, but it offers interesting data nonetheless. And, it’s free!
