A career in marketing was always part of the plan for Elliot. Out of school he headed straight for a Bachelor in Business Management, and that served as his entrée into the marketing industry.
Elliot held a few different marketing roles over the years, but he didn’t find his true calling until he took on some freelance copywriting work. As an avid reader and writer of fiction, copywriting clicked like nothing else, and his freelance work grew into a genuine passion for the niche.
This freelance venture eventually led to an opportunity to join Gordon Digital, and Elliot has enjoyed every moment since. Agency life is busy and varied, but it has also been a major opportunity to develop his skills and shape the digital marketing work we do for our clients.
Elliot is our in-house copywriter and is part of the Projects Team, although he works across all areas of the business. Every piece of content that comes through our doors is handled by Elliot, so he plays a central role in strengthening our clients’ brands.
You can always find Elliot tapping away, writing website pages, SEO content, blogs, social media posts, EDMs, and much more. While he writes content for all of our SEO strategies, Elliot specialises in the detail work, and he’s a big part of delivering strategies for our most technical clients.
Outside of work you can always find Elliot at the ice rink. It’s pretty much all he ever talks about, and we’re starting to wonder if he needs an intervention. If he’s not skating, Elliot’s probably climbing mountains, fixing an old car, making something with his hands, or spending every spare moment perfecting his latest cooking technique.
