Business Development Manager [Expressions Of Interest]

Our business is a growin’, and we’re open to looking for BDM to join us to keep on growing in 2020.
You, you live and breathe digital marketing and sales with a minimum 1-2 years of experience [ideally in a similar role] specialising in B2B sales.
You’ll have oodles of examples of how you’ve overcome objections and make it past those pesky gate keepers.
You’re the ultimate team player and thrive in a small but supportive environment.
You’re a master communicator who can relate well to people from all walks of life and just enjoys talking with people.
Getting outside of your comfort zone is something you are excited and open to do.
In return? You’ll work with a small team whose Director works in the business and isn’t afraid to roll her own sleeves up [and literally built the company from the ground up doing just that], and whose small team are some of the kindest, and cleverest humans you’ll ever work with.

The Gordon Digital suite of services includes managing Google Ads and Facebook campaigns, performing search engine optimisation and building low cost SEO friendly websites.

Our must haves in you...
•Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role, ideally in B2B
•Passion for small business, sales and digital marketing.
•Excellent communication skills – Impeccable written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position.

•Highly organised with attention to detail
This will be a permanent full time position and is located at our very colourful studio in Morningside, Brisbane. There is parking available and is located 2 minutes walk from Morningside train station. This position will only be open to candidates who live in Brisbane and who are Australian residents.

Google Ads Strategist [Expressions Of Interest]

Fancy yourself a Google Ads whizz?
I’m guessing because you’re here reading my little job advert, that you are ALL about that Google Ads life, and you’re pretty darn crafty at putting together some campaigns that are generating ALL the results.
Read on, friend.
We are a growin digital marketing agency that has been around the block circa 5 years. We are achieving some amazing ROI for clients across the trade, health, service and ecomerce industries.

Where do you come in?

Well, we are keeping our eye out for someone who has around 2 years Google Ads experience under their belt (ideally agency side), but if you’ve got less and you’re kinda new to the game, then don’t go discounting your wonderful self, okay? Because it’s a role thats open to a junior and we’re open to seeing people who might be all stages in the Google Ads game too.

What’s important here my friends, is that you are a nice human.

You’ll need to have bucket loads of empathy.

You’ll have to be uber customer-centric - being able to skillfully link arms with your clients on their digital journey with you.

Aaaand, you have to love what you do and show a keen desire to continue to Marie Kondo and finesse your craft.

Fancy some dot points that might better paint the picture around what you’ll be getting up to day-to-day: 
  • Ducking, weaving, strategising, and leveraging ALL OF THE ‘COOL’ TOOLS that get the job done! 
  • Successfully implementing, planning and optimising new PPC campaigns across Google Ads, some of the Socials, and perhaps even dip your toes into YouTube advertising too if you’re up for the challenge;
  • Achieve ripper ROI/CPA for all clients in your small folio; 
  • Creating gorgeous copy for clients in the form of Google search ads and landing pages
  • ALL THE REPORTING, but being quite discerning about how you do it, and innately understanding how each of your clients likes to be reported to;
  • Getting down and dirty in the strategy, planning and executing of all clients in your folio; and
  • Staying ‘on-trend’ with ALL THE shiny new digital things. 

A huge part of hiring for this role is attitude and culture fit first. So, if you’re creative, humble, clever, and have some cool ways of doing stuff; then chances are we will get on swell. You’ll also be welcomed with open arms if you love indoor plants and can contribute to our meme channel with lols, but that’s not our criteria ok. It might just help, that’s all!
