Digital Performance Account Manager - Google Ads

We’re on the lookout for a Google guru to join our marketing team in the exciting mid-level role of Digital Performance Account Manager. In this role, you’ll effectively strategise and manage Google Ads campaigns while working within a tight-knit team that feels like your second family. If you’ve got a degree in marketing or Google Ads is a platform that sparks a fire in your belly, then read on, friend!


Who are we, you ask? We are a Brisbane digital marketing agency based in Morningside that lives and breathes all things digital. We work extremely hard to create long-lasting partnerships with our clients, and like to celebrate each week with a bevvy and some fun on Friday afternoons.

We’re looking for someone who is a technically minded individual yet creative in their thought processes, and we’d like to think you’re someone who can put themselves in our clients’ shoes. You’d preferably have either a degree in marketing or adequate work experience, such as 2+ years experience in managing paid advertising campaigns or account management.

Our ideal person also has some pretty special customer service and communication skills, because you’ll be working fairly closely with your client base. As an Account Manager, you’ll provide your clients with insights and recommendations, ensuring that whilst they may not understand Google Ads and all of its intricacies, they feel that we are partnering with them and understand their business goals.
What does the role involve? 
  • Developing new paid advertisement strategies on Google Ads
  • Performing ongoing management and optimisation of campaigns
  • Reporting on the performance of campaigns
  • Working closely with your clients to create personalised performance strategies

Copywriter

Do you love words? Have you got a knack for engaging, exciting, and motivating an audience into taking action with those words? Well, read on my friend, we have the perfect role for you!

The Opportunity 👇
We are looking for a digital copywriter to join our team to support our digital strategists with your content writing prowess. You probably have a degree in journalism, creative writing, communications, or something to that effect and you’ve probably been in a copywriting role for circa 2 years with a particular focus on writing for digital channels. Your strong ability to conduct extensive research and gain a deep understanding of a client’s business and their industry is evident when you deliver unique and quality copy that truly speaks to our client's customers. And it absolutely goes without saying that you are a self-professed grammarista 🙋‍♀️
But we know ya’ll love some dot points. So let’s break down what you’ll be doing on the daily as a copywriter at Gordon Digital; here goes. You’ll be:
  • Working closely with our SEO & Web teams to write clear, concise, and convincing copy for our client’s websites. Strategically incorporating target keywords into the content you write.
  • Proofreading and editing content written by our clients, and our internal teamies.
  • Supporting our social specialist team to craft some highly engaging social content paying particularly close attention to tone and brand voice.
  • Assisting with our agency's internal marketing efforts, including content development for our website, socials, and anything else content-related required by our MD.
