Quicksand Supplies initially came to Gordon Digital for Google Ads. They’d just launched their website and needed to start growing the business.
We introduced Shopping and Search campaigns to drive visibility to the website. Quicksand Supplies specialises in European brands that aren’t widely available in Australia, so we focussed on attracting people searching for those brands.
To support those campaigns, we also targeted users who were searching for general advice about cleaning, maintaining and repairing timber flooring. We generated just over $2,800 in sales for their first month, and collected valuable data that helped us grow our sales month-on-month throughout 2023. In the last 90 days, we have scaled this online store to $30,000 in monthly sales.
With the sales rolling in, Quicksand Supplies wanted to invest in SEO. Their new website was a blank canvas, so we began with a strategy that leveraged their converting Google searches and creafted SEO-optimised content. We conducted a conversion rate optimisation audit using our CRO checklist and made improvements to the user experience resulting in increased average order value and conversion rates.
